Airport Manager: Damon Anderson advised the airport staff are working on grants to get more hangars on the airport. He said there is a lot of grant activity in progress. The Taxiway Alpha rehabilitation project planning is completed. Going out to bid in March. Phase 1 Construction should begin in the May to June 2021 time frame. This project will mostly be completed during the evening hours to minimize the impact on airport operations. This project will include new LED taxiway lighting. The completed project will have a narrower taxiway, but will have wider shoulders so there will be more pavement, there will also be a wider mouth from taxiway onto the runway.

The airport is in the process of getting gate card readers to increase security for the airport.

Damon talked about non-aviation uses of hangars and related this is only a minor problem, for the most part airport is in compliance.

The Airport Advisory Board will meet 1/20/2021 @ 5:30pm at City Hall.

Damon also reported Covid-19 has also impacted activity across the spectrum.

Meeting adjourned at 6:53pm on motion of Andy Campbell with a second by Steve Gnandt
