Young Eagles

Young Eagles Banner 1The EAA Young Eagles program is dedicated to giving youth ages 8–17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.

It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation!

Since 1992, the Young Eagles program has flown over 2 million kids!
Young Eagles have been registered in more than 90 different countries and have been flown by more than 41,000 volunteer pilots.

Most Young Eagle flights last between 20-30 minutes.  Once back on the ground, there will be additional time for you to ask questions about the flight.  Ask away!  Your pilot will be happy to tell you more about flying and their particular airplane.

You’ll also receive:

  • An official Young Eagles certificate, which is signed by your pilot.
  • An official logbook you can use for future training.
  • Access to a FREE online Ground School to continue your training. A $249 value.
  • More materials to further explore at EAA.org
