My name is Peter Undem, I have been a DAR (Designated Airworthiness Representative) since 2001 after retiring from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) where I was a Maintenance Inspector. I have been an EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) member since 2002. I am currently living in Punta Gorda, Florida and joined EAA Chapter 565 in January 2020.

Experimental Amateur Built: E-AB (code 46)
Experimental Light Sport: E-LSA 9 (code 47)

I have been an EAA member since the mid 80's, have built more than ten (10) aircraft and also worked as an IA operating my own maintenance facility located at the Leesburg International Airport (KLEE). I bring many years of experience to my job as a DRS and consider myself a hardcore homebuilder. Airworthiness Certification on E-AB is $650.00 plus .50 per mile travvel. Job that require entire day will be billed at $750.00 day plus all expenses.
Production Flight Certification and Airworthiness on S-LSA is $500.00 per Certification plus .50 per mile.
