EAA Chapter 54

St. Paul, MN. (Lake Elmo)

Monthly programs

Mark Schaible, Owner & President, Sonex LLC

Mark Schaible

We are delighted to take a deep dive, not in the acrobatic sense of course, into the industry of homebuilt aircraft with the CEO and owner of Sonex Aircraft, Mark Schaible, based at the “Lambeau field” of aviation, Oshkosh Wisconsin (sorry Viking fans -- and that includes me as hard as it is to admit).

Some of our members have built or are currently building (count me in) a Sonex aircraft.  Mark will cover topics related to Sonex, its aircraft and the industry. I think we might even get an update on the much-anticipated launch of the Sonex high wing and its two place jet aircraft.

Sonex provides kits for the most amazing array of aircraft from single place aircraft to gliders to jets. I don’t think you will want to miss this one.

Cinema 54 begins at 5:55pm with a showing of "Barnstorming."

This is a "hybrid" meeting that is available on Google Meet. A link to access it was sent to members' email address on February 19.
