EAA Chapter 524

FREDERICK, MD

RV 10-21

Steady progress continued on the RV-10 today. Riveting of the forward floor panels was begun today, but early on a problem arose with the gun for pulled rivets. So a lot of time had to be spent unjamming and fixing the gun. They were finally able to get it working well enough to start riveting, but the gun still is not quite right. Meanwhile, Peter continued his work on the seat brackets and Tom put the finishing touches on the reinforcing backing plates for the various antennas. Mike and Ernie assembled the rudder pedals along with the brake cylinders. We were also visited by a couple from Essex who are also building an RV-10. Steve shared some good information on the project with them. The next work session will be Wednesday, February 19th at 9:00.
