Each year EAA Chapter 517 sponsors three scholarships in coordination with Montana Aeronautics.
They include $1,000 for each of : 1)Post Solo flight training, 2) Aviation Career training and 3) Second Year A&P training.
The 2019 recipients were:
Post Solo: Bannack Kisthard (Red Lodge Flying Club)
Aviation Career Training: Carina Bracy (Rocky Mountain College)
2nd Year A&P: No one qualified this year
The 2020 recipients were:
Post Solo: Tristan Walker
Aviation Career Training: Darren Ginn
2nd Year A&P: No one qualified this year
