EAA Chapter 48 is planning a Flying Start event for the Fall of 2024. More information will be posted here when details are set.
EAA 48 welcomes and encourages any aviation enthusiasts to learn about the fun, freedom, and accessibility of personal aviation. The goal of the Flying Start program is to provide interested adults a pathway to flight training and involvement with EAA Chapter 48.
The program consists of a PowerPoint presentation and video that provide the attendees with information about learning to fly. Attendees will also learn real information about airplane ownership, and get to tour a few select hangars on the airport. The presentation is capped off with an EAA Eagle Flight for each attendee.
