Chapter 406

Bremerton National Airport, Bremerton WA (KPWT)

About Us

EAA chapter 406 is all about people, bringing together individuals interested in learning more about aviation as well as sharing their own knowledge. EAA chapter 406 sponsors the Bremerton Aviation Center for Education BACE, locate at Bremerton National Airport. This center provides an opportunity for youth of all ages to get more involved in the amazing world of aviation and  aerospace sciences. BACE has hands-on opportunities to design, build and maintain aircraft. BACE is the home of a sophisticated multi-screen flight simulator. While not FAA approved for logging flight time, the simulator is an excellent tool for procedural training and providing an introduction to aircraft handling.

Our chapter members are involved in a variety of social and educational activities, including Young Eagles rallies, fly-ins, building seminars, and more, to build awareness in the community. Chapter 406 partners with the Bremerton Pilots and Tenants Association for many activities, including the annual Hot-rod and Fly-in and the annual Holiday party scholarship fund raiser.

Please join us and share in the local flying community!
