EAA402 Scholarship Program

Aviation Scholarships

Heart of Ohio EAA Chapter 402

EAA Chapter 402 is recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity, and as such will begin awarding educational scholarships as funds become available.  A controlled process is now in place to develop, propose and award certain scholarship programs to selected individuals.  Personal applications are evaluated against fixed criteria, which are not need-based.  Membership in EAA or Chapter 402 is helpful, but not required, and each applicant will be evaluated by review of their written application, and by interview of selected finalists.

Applicants must:

  1. Meet FAA requirements pertinent to the educational training program.
  2. Reside in Licking (or an adjacent) County in the State of Ohio.
  3. Complete a written application by the specified deadline.
  4. Be able to start training within 6 months, and to use scholarship funds within 12 months of training initiation.

A scholarship of $500 will become available for consideration on October 31, 2021, with an Application Deadline Date of January 31, 2022 and an Award Date of March 31, 2022.  The training objectives for this scholarship are variable and may be suggested by the applicant, based on their educational program needs.
