EAA Young Eagles

About the Program:

The mission of the EAA Young Eagles Program is to provide a meaningful flight experience – free of charge –
in a general aviation aircraft for young people (primarily between the ages of 8 and 17). Flights are provided
by EAA members world wide. The program was launched in 1992 and has flown over 2 million kids.

It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.

EAA Chapter 36 is proud to be a part of this exciting program.

For more information from EAA headquarters about the Young Eagles program, visit www.youngeagles.org

At the Local Level:

Chapter 36 has flown over 7,000 kids.

Flights usually last around 15-20 minutes, and are normally available between 9 AM and 1 PM during Young Eagles events. *Weather Permitting*

If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering at future events, please contact our Young Eagles Coordinator Curtis Berry.
