Chapter 32 sponsors an VMC Club for our members and anyone in the St. Louis metroplex area who is interested in improving their VFR flying.
The meetings present real-world scenarios to engage & challenge participants. The program presents situations which present a challenge to the group and encourage discussion on the ‘what would you do’ options. This leads to an exchange of ideas, experiences, and information that improve awareness and skills.
Our VMC club consists of a community of pilots of varying experiences and backgrounds (GA, military, ATC, airline …) all willing to share information, discuss experiences, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency.
The VMC Club monthly programming is developed and produced by EAA as well as supplementing with other programs that present real world flying scenarios. Discussions about the scenario presented and options available present unique learning experiences. Most scenarios also have an expert panel round table as a wrap up discussion.
