Chapter 29

Welcome to Chapter 29 where our passion for aviation soars!

Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our chapter.  We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so.  Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.

We meet on the first Thursday of the month. Please check the  meetings page for the most recent information, and follow us on Facebook!

Member or Not... Join us at any of our Meetings.  We would LOVE to have you!

Start planning to attend chapter meetings on the first Thursday of each month except for June and September.  For details about our meetings visit the meetings page.  We look forward to seeing you.

As you should know by now, the requirement for ADS-B equipage has passed. AOPA has published an article (view it here) on how to get approval to fly into ADS-B airspace without working equipment. It is recommended to only use it for emergencies or to get the plane to the avionics shop, because it probably will not be approved multiple times for the same aircraft.

Young Eagles

We have had a very successful season of Young Eagles rallies this year. We will discontinue for the winter, but hope to resume as soon as the weather turns nice again in the spring. Keep an eye out here and on our Facebook page for announcements.

Membership Renewal Form

If you need to renew your chapter membership, you can download the Membership Renewal Form. It is a fillable PDF form, and after downloading, it can be filled out, and either printed and brought to the next meeting, or e-mailed back to Bob or Kirk.
