Our January meeting will be a tour of the KVYS OSF Life Flight facility. We will meet at the FBO at 6:30 for a short meeting, and then adjourn to walk or carpool to the north hangar for our tour.

Our December meeting will be a Holiday Celebration at the Lone Buffalo in Ottawa, Illinois. Cost is $28 (dinner, tax, and tip) and there will be a cash bar. Drinks at 6:30, dinner at 7:00. Contact one of the officers to make your reservation and payment by 11/28 (one week prior to the meeting) so we may confirm our buffet.

Join us at the airport and learn How to Get the Most Out Of Your Flight Review. Nick Scholtes, long-time CFI out of Morris talks about the dreaded Flight Review (formerly known as the biennial flight review) - how to survive it, enjoy it, and benefit from it as a pilot, with a minimum of stress!

Parachute Packing and Safety tips - Chapter members Hannah and Joe will be giving a demo on re-packing a parachute, followed by a short talk on wearing the emergency parachute system, and a few basic things to check/include in your pre-flight if you're wearing an emergency parachute during flight.
