Cottonwood Airport, Rockford, IL

Well it all started in 1992, Elroy Hilbert took me to an auction and I bought a barn find airplane 1941 Taylorcraft.

I hung it in my garage for a couple of years and then sold it. Then I bought a Tailwind project and it sat around in the garage for about five years and I gave it away.

Then my neighbor gave me a Christavia project and I have been working on it for the past fifteen years. Oh in 1992 I took two hours of flight training.
