Welcome to Chapter 1627 - The Flatirons Flyers!We are a group of pilots, aircraft builders and aviation enthusiasts who meet at least once a month to exchange ideas, share resources, encourage safety and serve the local aviation community. We are a new EAA Chapter but many of us have been EAA members for years and we are dedicated to making Boulder Municipal Airport (KBDU) the best airfield in the Mountain West. We have a yearly Fly-in, a growing Young Eagles program, weekly build sessions on the "Baby Great Lakes Project" and monthly chapter meetings. All events are open to the public and we are open-minded to suggestions that would improve our chapter and airport. Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, we hope you come join us soon! |
