EAA162 Participation in Operation Tin Goose.
In May 2019, Then President Kevin Griffis brought forward in the monthly meeting that the EAA was holding a fundraiser for one of the Ford Trimotors they fly frequently at airshows and all over the US. the wings were in need of repair and we as a chapter would be able to help raise the money towards a safer airplane.
Although our efforts were rather dormant, the EAA National was able to get $90.000,00 in funds raised. WE have been in touch with them and we are still able to contribute to Operation Tin Goose.
