Who are we?  And who is the EAA?

We're the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association, a well-respected international organization of over 200,000 members with chapters and members world-wide.  Founded in 1953 and with a focus primarily upon general aviation, the EAA helps local communities like ours to better connect with aviation and provides a framework of help, safety, education and outreach.  Our membership is open to all with an interest in aviation- not just pilots.  Our members come from all walks of life (including students and retirees, women and men) and have diverse and interesting backgrounds.

Sully and a Young Eagle

Our local chapter is made up of a wide range of people who share a love for aviation.  Thanks for visiting our site- and we invite you to learn more!

(In case you're interested, that pilot on the left is EAA member "Sully" Sullenberger with Young Eagle he's about to take flying for the first time!)
