Young Eagles

Since 1992 the Young Eagles Program from the EAA is dedicated to giving youth ages 8–17 an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane, flown by a local pilot-- all free of charge and thru the generosity of local EAA volunteers.  It’s the only program of its kind anywhere in the world, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.  To date the Young Eagles program has flown over 2 million kids.  Parental permission required, of course.

For 2022, our local chapter has planned three Young Eagle Day events:

• April 23, 2022   (Weather date: May 7, 2022)   (FULLY BOOKED)
• June 11, 2022   (Weather date: June 18, 2022) 
• October 22, 2022   (Weather date: October 29, 2022)
