Young Eagles

EAA Young EaglesSince 1992 the Young Eagles Program from the EAA is dedicated to giving youth ages 8–17 an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane, flown by a local pilot-- all free of charge and thru the generosity of local EAA volunteers.  It’s the only program of its kind anywhere in the world, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.  To date the Young Eagles program has flown over 2 million kids.  Parental permission required, of course.
