EAA Chapter 1285 Monthly Business meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, at 6 PM.
Business meetings are normally held at Peter Fazio's house, 519 S. Casey Key Rd, Nokomis. To get there take 41 to Albee Road, go over the Bridge, turn Left, go down 7 and on the Left Side (Bay Side), #519. It is the 2 story yellow house with the 4 white garage doors.
Each business meeting is followed at 7 PM by the EAA Chapter 1285 VMC club. This is a group of folks who want to discuss flying in Visual Meteorological Conditions-which includes just about all flying! This is a great place to bring up questions, or help answer other folk's questions about flying. No question too easy or hard.
Chapter 1285 Monthly Gatherings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm with the exception of no meeting in December. The meetings are held at the the Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park Community Center: address is: 780, Firenze Ave E, Venice, FL 34285. To get there, just take Rialto street to Firenze, turn East until it ends, and park.
