Experience the thrill of aviation on a local level by joining EAA chapter 1240
Our chapter is a local group of aviation enthusiasts with interests ranging from aircraft building, to engaging youth, to aviation safety, to vintage aircraft, ultralights, warbirds, aerobatic flight, and everything in between.
Our monthly meetings are held on the Thursday prior to our monthly pancake breakfast. We have dinner at 6:30 pm with program following at 7pm. Our chapter allows you to share your interest with fellow members in a variety of aviation, educational, and social activities such as:
- Aircraft building/restoration
- Seminars/workshops/guest speakers
- EAA Young Eagle rallies
- Fly-ins/fly-outs
- Cookouts
- Fundraising
- And much more!
EAA’s local chapters are about people, bringing together individuals interested in learning more about aviation as well as sharing their own knowledge.
Chapter members are involved in a variety of social and educational activities, including Young Eagles rallies, fly-ins, building seminars, and more, to build awareness in the community.
