We are one of a worldwide network of chapters of the Experimental Aircraft Association, commonly known as EAA, headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. We have members throughout Florida with our focus on The Villages, Loves Landing, Leeward Air Ranch and the surrounding communities. We are a social organization made up of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like-minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety and have a lot of fun.

EAA Chapter 1236 Events, Members & Officers
We conduct an annual Fly-In at Love Field (97FL) the first Saturday in November that typically draws well over 100 aircraft of all types from all of Florida and the surrounding states. This is a must-see event for aviation enthusiasts. We have social events throughout the year from casual gatherings to a gala Christmas Party. Fly-outs to interesting sites, educational and fun speakers at our monthly meetings, and the newly formed IMC and VMC clubs to fine tune your flying skills. Our members include home builders, A&Ps, CFIs, aerobatic instructors, former military pilots, former and current airline Captains, and every possible type of aviation enthusiast. Whether you like balloons, ultralights, light-sport, rotorcraft, bush planes, vintage, warbirds, Cessnas, Pipers, Beechcraft, Mooneys, or jets we have members with experience and stories to tell.
