*new* -- Our next builder chat and movie is 11/1 at 6 PM -- Please join us for this low-key evening social hour/builder chat, followed by an aviation-themed movie at 7 PM.

October 19, We had a beautiful day for our annual picnic and remembrance of Bobby Cox, our founder and benefactor, who passed away last December. Thanks to all the Chapter members who did the work to make the event happen, and to Rosalyn Cox for allowing us to use her patio for the event. We had several folks fly in to allow us to inspect their aircraft, and we had an awesome flyby by The Bandit Flight Team. A number of Chapter members shared their "Bobby" stories, though one of the best had to be Rosalyn's story about her first couple of dates with Bobby. Amazing.

In recent years, the Chapter has had several successful Ray Aviation scholarship student candidates complete various pilot training. We plan to continue to support and expand this effort. Your tax-deductible contribution can help make that possible. Email scholarship@eaa1114.org for more info.

IMC/VMC Club will meet via Zoom until further notice - See the FAAST site for scheduled meetings.

Guests are always welcome. Come join us for one of our meetings. See our DIRECTIONS page to find us by plane or car. The CALENDAR page provides a list of upcoming chapter and area events. Have any questions? See CONTACT US.

EAA Chapter 1114 has one of the world's leading Young Eagles programs With over 17,000 kids flown! We have numerous nationally recognized coordinators and volunteers. For details on upcoming rallies, see our YOUNG EAGLES page.
