*New* - Nominations are now being taken for Chapter officers for the 2021 - 2022 period - This is your opportunity to get involved, make a difference, and help steer the Chapter into the future. We are already one of the largest, best-organized Chapters within EAA and we have a number of fantastic volunteers who will make the new officers, not to mention the Chapter, very successful going forward. There are also various volunteer positions that are open, including our Young Eagles coordinator, so there is a role for YOU. Now is the time to jump in with both feet! Send a note to the Chapter Secretary with any questions.

*New* - Thanks to Mike Wusk for speaking at our 8/15 meeting - Mike gave us an extensive run-down of how the NASA Langley Research Center came to be and how it played an important role in a number of ground-breaking aviation and space developments.

Our Chapter has been approved to select a Ray Aviation Scholarship candidate - We are beginning the selection process to select a student pilot aged 16 to 19 who will compete for a scholarship of up to $10,000 towards training for a Private pilot certificate. For more information or to propose a student you think is deserving of this fantastic opportunity, contact our scholarship coordinator, Dan Moore.
