EAA Chapter 524

FREDERICK, MD

RV 10 Work Session #15-#17

Wednesday’s session began with Mark conducting a master class in riveting. Everyone who attended brought their skills up to speed and then the final riveting of the tail cone to the fuselage was begun. Separate work stations were set up for the rudder pedal and brake installation, control tube fabrication, and antenna attach point backer plates. Work on Thursday and Saturday saw the mating of the tail cone and fuselage completed. The finish kit crate has been opened and parts from it will soon form more work stations for wheels and brakes and the baggage door. The next session will be Wednesday, February 5th at 9:00.
