Going to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is exciting, and flying there is even better. The arrival can also be demanding, with tight speed control, precise descents, changing instructions, and busy traffic.

Do not just show up. Train with purpose, review the procedures, and build the confidence to manage one of general aviation's most memorable arrivals.

Pilots who want to participate in the June 27 arrival flight training must attend the June 13 AirVenture Arrival Briefing.

This half-day session will provide a detailed briefing on the 2026 AirVenture arrival NOTAM and important safety considerations for pilots who may fly into AirVenture.

  • Review arrival procedures and expectations
  • Discuss traffic flow, speed control, and descent planning
  • Prepare for safe decision-making in a high-traffic environment
  • Required for pilots requesting June 27 flight training

Pilots requesting flight training must have attended the June 13 arrival briefing.
