Hey it's July already!  We have some news!
Check out our updated website! 
Here is where there are some changes and additions, go to the following menu selections on  this Website:
-Chapter Survey and Roster-This page has our member survey results, a link to the survey if you haven't taken it yet, and finally a copy of our latest chapter 1285 Roster. 
-Chapter Members: This has pictures of 48 of you so far. If your picture is missing, or you want a better one,  PLEASE EMAIL ME A PICTURE OF YOU. 
-Chapter Members Aircraft: This has 6 aircraft so far. PLEASE EMAIL ME A PHOTO OF YOUR AIRCRAFT!
-Jim Allen/Sam Kurtz Build Projects: This tab has pictures of Jim Allen's Zenith build and Sam Kurtz' RV project. Sam recently had an article written about him in Kitplanes:
Ray Scholarship
I'm delighted to announce (tail wagging) that Art Chapman has stepped up to be our Ray Scholarship facilitator for this year!  He takes over from David Consbruck.  Thanks to David for his hard work this past year, and thanks of course to Art for taking this on!
July Chapter Meeting to Feature Austen Flannery, National Weather Service TPA Bay
July 21st at 7:30 PM-Austen is a meteorologist with the NWS Tampa Bay Area Weather Forecast Office. They monitor the weather 24/7, 365 for 15 counties in West Central and Southwest Florida, and more than 10,000 square miles of near and offshore waters along the Florida coastline. They write all the TAFs for sevan local airports. Austen will be joining us by ZOOM, doing a presentation and taking questions. He plans to join the IFR club meeting ahead of the chapter meeting to listen in and participate if we have any IFR weather questions.
ZOOM Meetings Continue:
Our Zoom Chapter Business Meetings, IMC club, VMC club, and chapter gatherings continue in Zoom. If you aren't doing this you are missing out on a lot of fun and camaraderie!  We also invite all VASI members, as they don't have meetings in the summertime.  I will be sending out invitations and announcements. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO ZOOM!
